I am a little behind in my blogging. We have been super busy with cleaning the house and changing our school routine that this gets thrown aside.
I decided to take a trip to Costco with a very specific list. That whole list was thrown out when I saw there was a new ad for organic goodies!
The beans were on the list but the hummus and the veggie burgers weren’t. The burgers were $10.99. The hummus was a good deal at $4.79 plus a Shrink rebate of $1.00 making it $3.70 for 24 ounces.
Berries were on the list. My kids love to snack on frozen blueberries.
These were in the ad. The waffles were $7.49. We have been eating them the last couple days and, to be honest, they aren’t great. I don’t think I will buy them again. The milk was $7.99 or $1.33 a quart.
The potstickers appear to be vegan. I have read the label several times. They are very funny, too. The corn was $4.49 or $.89 a pound. We used this to make Vegan Corn Chowder today for lunch. It was yummy, just needed hot sauce (but what doesn’t need hot sauce?).
Pears were around $.99 a pound.
We, also, went to the Oroweat outlet for bread. I try to make my own bread but I go through periods where that is just too difficult. You can get vegan bread for $1.10, a lot of it certified.
I spent around $106.
